m6400 try to find a replacement for the "BRICK"

    How do we get the slim adapter? I can't find it on the dell website. Do you think Dell would swap it for the old one if we call up and ask?

    They first offered me the old one, you need to tell them, that there's a new slim one (Part-No. W442M)! I also asked them to replace the old one, but I had no luck. Nevertheless I needed another adapter, so I use the slim on the go and the brick stationary at home.

    it's funny because we just received some Optiplex 760 micro form factor workstations, and they use the same 'brick' and they are desktops.
