And how much HDDs you use...

I have all 4 SO-Dimms in use and 2 hdds in Raid 0 + the FX 3700 and even a 150W adapter is not enough :(

    That sucks :(
I was planning on having 3 sodimms (1gb +2x2gb) + two HDDs. Looks like 130W wont be enough.

UPS brings my M6400 next Tuesday, then I will do some Tests with my 150W PSU i bought for my M6300.

I will see if its enough for 'normal' work (coding) and see how it fits in Testing (CAD Software is running with large Models loaded and my Addons doing a lot of calculations)

On the otherside this is a 100% Desktop Workstation replacment so for me the 'brick' is acceptable.
It the 150W PSU isn't strong enough i have to buy another 'brick' one for work and home

My M6400 comes with QX9300 16GB RAM 2 HDD and the FX 3700M

I have a lower CPU (T9400) and it slows down, when I work on large Models with the 150W power supply. Of course it will work, but you'll get some slowdowns while working under full load. I use 2 bricks for work and Desktop use and a 130W power supply for "mobile" use in my house.

    My M6400 arrived yesterday :D

Comparing the 'Brick' against the 150W PSU, its a little bigger than the 150W PSU and the weight is nearly the Same. Fits without any Problems in the Dell Bag I order with it, so i will go for another two 'Bricks', the 150W will be good for coding but Testing with large Models isn't nice that way.

Next Weekend so I hope, i will find some time to reinstall my M6400 from the scratch and the i can start Testing, i will then exchange my experiences in the M6400 Reviews Thread.

    Regards Christopher

I use my M6400 with a 90W power supply from my Dell D810 and it works just fine.

I have not tested it under a huge workload but for everything else, no problem.

In fact, I measured the actual power consumption of the computer using the 210W power supply and it never whent above 85W
