    To sum up:
The 150W wasn't enough for my config (--> sig), so I ordered the new slim power adapter. It's a lot lighter:

The brick is in my office. I will get there back next week and make a photo.
The slim version is only slimmer. Same plan view but about 2 or 2,5 times slimmer. It's as slim and almost as light as the M4400 130W adapter, but larger.

I might get one of those.

Then again, my M6400 (quad core QX9300, 16GB Ram, 512GB Raid 0 disc array with FX2700m, vista 64bit) does run and charge (albeit slowly) on the 90W adapter that I have spare from my old D820. That is good enough for me when travelling.

Even the 60W adapter charges the M6400. The problem is, when you do more than surfing the web ;)

Here some more pics of the slimmer brick (on the left you can see the 130W adapter of the M4400) :D
    Dimensions are 20x10x2,5cm (7 3/4 x 3 7/8 x 1 ")
    Weight is 800gr. (1lb 13oz) including cables.

Actually it is as slim as the base unit of the M6400:

Does anyone have a model number for this slim adapter? I was on the phone with the Dell rep today (I'm in the UK) and he had never heard of it. Is it a US-only thing?

Can't find it on the website either, but then they haven't updated their accessories section to include 6400 adapters, which is pretty pathetic given that it's been out over half a year.

US part numbers. Not sure if this will help in the UK.
    Manufacturer Part# : Y044M
    Dell Part# : 330-4128

    Hi
Anyone now the difference between the two AC adaptors listed as options on Dells USA Site

    210W/240W switchable Slim 3P A/C Adapter
    and
    210W 3P, A/C Adapter

I have tried talking to online chat but the say there is only one adaptor for the unit which was the 330-4128 part number which by the description seems to be the 210W 3P, A/C Adapter
