I can stay at the Hilton and get the Dell in the US, still save money and fly back on first class while I fire him up, this is not a she... it's a freaking monster..

I am from the UK and the price here, it's close to a full month salary for me.

I'm quite taken with the Orange as well. My rep knows very little about it so far, I think I'll wait to see what happens. Clearly not all of the potential options are on there yet.

I don't think it's outrageously priced for what it is and how new it is.

I think that we all have lost the meaning of the value money has .
We are talking about a price for a good used car.
And consider that every month you lose 10% at least of your money .
I don't think that it will sell her in Europe with in the Bussiness companies or from private buyers .Soon there will be quad core everywhere for not much than 1500 $ full configuration and i think a part from his monster spec which are without any interest for normal application someone can do the same things with any full configured M4400 OR E6400.
This is only my first oppinion .
    Thanks

I contacted Dell and some of the options are not available till next week sometime. ie; Orange Color, RGB LED Screen, full 16GB of memory, and some other options.

I configured one with the following and it came up to US $4004 and I only selected these components because I plan to upgrade later and to keep the initial price down. I just selected the key components that are a little more difficult to upgrade latter; ie; Screen, Processor, Video Card. When all the options are available I will be ordering one with the RGB LED screen, in the Orange Color, and a couple of other component that are not available yet.

Adam sincerly with this price tag i must admit that there will be a lot of dell enthusiast who is willing to pay to get the best of the best .
You in the US are very lucky to have these prices .
Best regards to all of you who can spend this amount . Here in Europe the price is 50 % higher .

What is your point? My idea of a good used car cost me the US$ equivalent of $100K. I don't see any Dell computers around that price point.
