LOL, that made me laugh out loud in the office! :) :)
On a more serious note, I believe that for marketing reasons, even if everything was ready and set to go, they would avoid this week because of the new iPods announcement from Apple. (or perhaps something else, was therer another big event this week?)

The two products have nothing in common, but why share the publicity with someone else, if you have to wait just one week or a few days?

Oh god- if the screen is really that glossy I'm gonna puke. There isn't a class of user I can think of that benefits from the glossy screen.

I think the whole glossy screen trend on alot of laptops is idiocracy!

The PDF brochure that has been posted here shows a selection of screens, some anti-glare, some glossy. No worries.

I love that sly dig. The Mac guy saying 'Hey, you know where this goes?'. More accurate that many Apple owners would care to admit... :D

I'm also waiting impatiently for this. It's not that my M1730's have been inadequate as heavyweight transportables, but I want docking support and Quadros - and above all it's kind of a drag to walk around with a paper bag over my head whenever I have to use the machine in public :p
