    Thanks.
    ... Another 2 questions:

    1. Did you get the M4800 with the "Backlit - Keyboard" ?

    2. If yes, is there a Dell software utility or a keyboard FN Key sequence to:

    a. Change the Brightness level of the Back Light beneath the Keyboard Keys ?
    b. Is there an Option to Turn OFF the Keyboard Back Light ?

Yes, I have the backlit keyboard.

No idea if there's a Dell utility since I did a clean install on my own SSD, but there are options in the BIOS to control the length of time the backlight stays on for after each keypress. There's also a keyboard shortcut (Fn+right arrow) to cycle through 4 brightness levels (plus off makes 5).

    Question:
    1. If you Turn OFF the Backlit will it stay OFF, even when you Re-boot the pc ?

I ask because I am debating on getting it with or without a Backlit Keyboard.

And For me, at least at this point, I think that I would only want to use the Backlit when working in a darken room and I would Not want to have to bothered having to Turn it OFF, at every Boot-Up.

I can check, but I believe so (based on the fact that it stays at the brightness level it was at previously). To be honest, I don't really notice it much when I'm in a well-lit room.

It would be great if you could double check with a quick test and re-boot

You have been a great help. I just want to make the choices of options that I can work with, before placing an order, as its a big purchase expense for me and I want to get everything right with no regrets.
... Its not like the timse in the past, when the pc's you wanted were always in stores to play with first.

    Thanks again.

Just checked - yes, it retains the brightness setting through reboots.
