Sure thing. Just run Power Manager, make sure Peak Shift or Advanced Charge are disabled, and you can set a charging schema. mpBwq2u.png

Afterwards, you can re-enable Peak Shift and Advanced Charge, and they will act as an overlay/override to the base schema you set in the first screen.

I'm actually working on buying one of the QHD lids with the WiGig wiring, so that I can pilfer that and shoehorn it into my FHD lid. I have a spare Dell DW1601 from an issue last year, and would love to get my Ultimate-N 6300 in, since I do have 3x3 N at home, but nothing AC yet.

I did not use my laptop for the past 5 days (was on the Port replicator PR02x with the 240 w brick) and today I turn it on and the startup has been very long with some updates (I have Windows 8.1, Bios A5) and now the pc is on but very very very slow. My battery icon tray shows 7843h 23mn! To load a webpage take a long long time!! Everything is super slow!!!!
I've just launched Windows defender but it looks like it gonna take an eternity to scan).
My first Pc at home since a long time and after 3 weeks without problems now it's a disaster!!
    What can I do?

That sounds a lot like the throttling problems folks have seen with A07 and 130W adapters. If you run off of battery, does it speed back up?

I unplugged from AC and now it runs with the battery! It's still very slow, everything! moving a window, the cursor.....
I really don't know what can I do now.

Edit : after a restart with other Windows updates it runs normally again. I'm still unplugged from AC. Gonna try to plug again to AC to see if it works well.
I'm a little bit disappointed by such problem. I have this laptop to work and for the money I paid it's not really comforting. I don't know if I can rely on this laptop. :(

Edit 2 : it sounds like everything is ok again with the laptop on AC. I think I'm gonna be a little bit anxious each time I will start the laptop!

Alright, chaps. I now hold the dubious distinction of being a trepidatious owner of a brand new M4800 with m5100. What do I gotta do to get it on the level? Closing the lid, then opening it did not appear to cause it any problems.

What are the differences in Bioses? Is there a reason to update to the newest one or not?
