    Thanks for DellFanManagement!
    It's indeed working!

However, I can't find advanced power settings in my controls panel. It's missing... I can't locate it on my Windows 10 64bit.

Right-click taskbar battery icon and pick Power Options.
Then, "Change plan settings" and then "Change advanced power settings".
CPU limit control is near the bottom, "Processor power management".

You can confirm whether turbo boost is enabled or disabled by looking at Task Manager "Performance" tab. It shows the CPU speed live. You won't hit 3 GHz unless turbo boost is enabled.

It will be awesome if you guys can modify the DellFanManagement software...

I need a setting that automatically turns on fans when the temperature is over 68 degree celcius, and turn off fans when temperature is under 68...

It needs 'if' statements to control this.
Also, the DellFanManagement should automatically start on window's startup because 4940MX CPU will need it all the time.

EDIT: ohhh I see there's 'Consistency Mode' ....

Task Scheduler is the best choice. Set a job to run at login and make sure that it is set to run with highest privileges.

ThinkMod NVMe to express card adapter is shipping in a month or two.

People are saying that it will work on M4800.

I think the thinkmod adapter is better than the Chinese one because it'll perfectly fit M4800.

I'll buy it as soon as it becomes available. :)

Figured out what caused the AMD M5100 bios to be overwritten.
    The culprit is Windows update!.

I did a fresh install of LTSC the other day and let Windows Update to do its thing.
Came back some hours later after several reboots

and lo and behold the gpu is detected as an Radeon R9 M200X

I haven't installed any drivers at all.
Windows update is the sole source of every update and driver installed.

ThinkMod adapter is already available now. The owner said if I order now, I'll receive it within two months.
Let me order mine and see what happens...
