Negative, Optimus is not working with the QHD+ display (even with A03). Looks like an issue with the motherboard design will prevent this (only discrete GPU is wired to eDP port).

    I know :p

Battery life is pretty acceptable with the QHD+ display considering the discrete GPU is always on. I got three hours with a mixed workload, when I run on battery again I'll see what I get with a light workload.

My old Alienware M15x with a discrete GPU got 1 1/2 hours max with the extended battery so this isn't too bad for me. Although if I need more battery life I have been looking at the battery slice, just too expensive.

Just received my M4800 ... have not had time to assess battery life properly, but Windoze reckons it's good for 7.5 hours.

Yup, 1080p, not sure about exact model, but no Optimus - AMD Firepro, so "Enduro" must be working :D

Does anyone know if you can simply disable the K2100m in BIOS, and get much longer battery life?

I had a Thinkpad W530 and when id travel i would disable the Discrete GPU in BIOS and i would get a good 6-7 hours of battery life compared to about 3 with the GPU.

    Thanks.

That would depend on which screen you have. The QHD screen model can only use the K2100m, but the FHD screen model should be able to do what you describe.
