    Well this is subjective

But I think the keyboard PALES in comparison to the Lenovo's..
In JR review, or a thread response, someone mentioned how the bottom is held by 1 screw. Lo and behold, I just had one on my desk (we've had about 9 arrive) and the bottom of my center screw was stripped !

    Well, that isn't good...

The bottom panel slides out horizontally a little bit before coming completely off of the PC. As long as you are careful with it, you'll be okay long enough for Dell to send a replacement screw.

Also, flip the PC over and pull the panel off. Make sure the screw hole itself isn't stripped, because if it is you'll need some major replacement parts.

I'm really trying to *like* these new dells. Have my eyes on a M series.

Have to play with the touchpad and change some settings as I'm constantly makeing it zoom 400% when using IE.... It also doesn't seem as senstative as the Thinkpads.

And yes, FWIW....have used Thinkpads for years but considering either a new M or W500 series...

Well, I am just ecstatic and I have an overwhelming feeling of anticipation on waiting for my new E6400 to arrive. My 5 year old Toshiba from Costco has been good, but needs to be decommissioned. I have dropped it countless times, bent two usb ports out of line, knocked the WIFI switch off (and super glued it back), replaced the LCD, upgraded the RAM twice, and performed countless modifications to it physically and with various softwares. Yes, I cannot wait to see my new E6400 in my lap.

Just curious, I'm planning on buying the E6400 for personal use. Does Dell authenticate that it's for a business in some way?

Not at all. Just make up a business name. There is no verification whatsoever.

No, anyone can buy via the Small Business section of the website. Tell them it is for personal use and use your name as a business name. Don't make one up, that might cause issues later.

Sweetness. As soon as my MacBook Pro sells on Ebay I'll place the order for the E6400. Thanks all who provided awesome info in this thread, as well as other threads.
