    Wow you got 1 too. Mine comes in 8600gs in Malaysia, been using it for 4 month. loves the 1920 x 1600 screen which made my friends drooling for it. only thing is the second hard disk cable hard to find outside...........:D

    I'm 99% certain you'll get the GS. Unless they've modded the Vostro recently it won't take the GT. At least that's what my research and Dell Support told me.

    Unless you absolutely need the extra oomph (3400 vs 2600 3DMark 06 pts) the GS is a good card.

    I reckon the 1710 is the best value 17" WUXGA machine out there at the moment. I also think it looks pretty cool in a vary understated way.
