Is my new video card authentic?

Hi,

I recently bought a Quadro M5000m on ebay and installed on my Precision M6800. After installation, everything seems to be OK except that my computer displays an incorrect name of it. So I am wondering: could this card be fake?

 

Likely, just the device ID on the card doesn't match up with a device name in the driver INF. What drivers are you using? I don't think any drivers have been published on NVIDIA's site for the M5000M yet. This name issue may be resolved when an official driver for the M5000M is released.

(Creating a fake high-end Quadro that performs as expected would be quite a feat.)

I'm a little surprised that the GPU clock speed is lower than the clock speed of my K5000M, but I can't find what the clock speed for this model is supposed to be. The rest of the specs look good.

 

Actually this screenshot was taken when it's not working hard. The GPU can go to 1050MHz frequency.

EDIT: Benchmarks of this card is also as high as expected.

I am using the ODE driver for Quadro K5100m.
