Yes, there are 2 other conmfusing tings. They mention a part from a E6500, and also no mention of the LED screen. In the building process, there is NO option EXCEPT for the LED hi rez screen. SO, I am not worried too much, but I will call them. Looks like I have plenty of time according to the ship date :( Of course, I will call ASAP.)

And so it goes. I guess if I am terribly unhappy for any reason I can return it. Th plan was to make it my main computer, and therefore have my business with me all the time, and to demo software that I sell at offices using the built in wireless. I know better than to go to an office and say, hey, how about I spend an hour futzing with your wireless connection so I can show you my software? Their wireless may be non-existant to broken.

So, that is the Plan Stan, I hope to heck it works!

    Hello,

don't worry too much about the ship date. I ordered my 6400 four days
ago and it took one day for each stage. Now it is already being delivered and
    will arrive on Monday.

I live in Austria, Europe... i do not know where yours is being built.

I know the middle resolution screen (not sure of res) is a WLED one. I just got my E6500 and am pretty sure it was. The Dell Rep said it was.

You seem to have a choice between
On the E6400 WXGA+ comes with the LED backlight.

The person assembling this computer may have a few challenges!

Yes, I spoke with Dell today. They said the screen is LED and will be the right one. Also said it was Vista Business 64bit for sure. They said they could expedite building, but so far have not upgraded me to one day shipping, which I have decided that I must have. And tips or tricks for getting this?

I do not want my beautiful BLUE 1700 dollar laptop bouncing around in a truck for ANY longer than ABSOLUTELY necessary. I LIKE UPS and FEDEX, I just do not TRUST them :)

I just ordered over the phone and got free overnight shipping for my desktop and my dad's E6500 by asking for it.
