There is any trick to easily remove the stickers from the palmrest without leaving a mess with all the glue in the palmrest, or risking damaging the palmrest in the removal process ?, thanks

All I did was slowly peel them off with my nails.

I believe it was the Intel one that came off easily and with little residue, the Windows sticker on the other hand was a pain in the rear. I had some weird citrus stuff for removing sticker residue, and that worked.

Not sure if this will work on a laptop, but car dealership stickers can be easily removed by heating them up with a hairdryer, leaving no residue. Just an idea... :D

There are a few ways. Some users suggest a little heat from a hair dryer to losen it up, but i just peal them off and remove the rest of the junk with a product called goo gone. Its a citrus cleaner that works wonders for this.

maybe a heavy session of gaming might help heat up the palmrest, so you dont have to use a hair dryer then!

You can always use a small piece of tape (I like to use the thick packing page) to lift off excess glue.

But, keep in mind that the plastic under the stickers will probably be a different color, so unless the stickers are looking really bad, I don't recommend removing them.

The plastic underneath is not a different colour. I removed the stickers on my first m4400 and removed the residue with rubbing alcohol, just a bit though and wiped it straight off.

It depends on how long the stickers have been on there and your usage patterns. If the palmrest gets worn, then the plastic under the stickers will be the original color.
