I was really interested in buying the m4400, but I wanted to go with monthly payments. However, I notice that you cannot use the Dell preferred account on business laptops. In fact, you have to legally be from a business to get any financing from dell :( Is there a way around this?

If you have access to EPP, you can use personal credit there.

If not...to be honest, the interest rate with Dell DPA is probably worse than your credit cards you have now. Might as well use them.

My DPA is at %16, so you must have bad credit for it to be at %29.99.

AS was mentioned, just go to the public sector link, then employee purchase. From there you can buy latitudes (no precisions, though:() and use your DPA.

If it asks for a business name when you are filling out shipping info, just put your own name. This works because I have done it numerous times:)

does DPA always have the addtional 3% off?

    I didn't apply it since I saw the APR is 29.99% :(

I think because I'm a student , plus I don't have any income caused my APR is so high?

But the apr of my wellsfargo credit card is only 12.3%

What you can try to do is use your DPA account and purchase Dell Gift Cards for the amount you need to buy the M4400 and use them to purchase it under the small business side.

I'd check with Dell SMB first about being able to use the cards there.

I checked the FAQ for gift cards and it says you can't use DPA to buy them, but you can use the gift cards to purchase ANY merchandise from dell.

Oh, and I went under employee purchases for the public sector, but I discovered an ugly fact... You don't get the usual hundreds of dollars savings, so they are much more expensive
