How can i get my processor NOT to downclock when im playing games on my emulator?

    It is not Dell, it is the CPU. Complain to Intel. But of course, there are no drivers for the CPU or firmware update, so you will need to buy a newer one that has that fixed, IF Intel is interesting to fix it. All Dell can do is turn the CPU fan at max speed when it your CPU is at 35C, but then you would complain that your 9 hours of battery life ended being 45min, and that the computer is super loud.

    Something you guys must understand, a laptop IS NOT a desktop computer. There is a huge difference between both in performance.
    A Geforce 9600M is MUCH slower than the same GPU on the desktop. Same for the CPU and so on.

    also, i dont know if im crazy (probably), but it seems to be not as bad when on battery.

    Your laptop is cooler on battery as many components such as video card and chipset are lower in speed.

    I deleted my post, slap me lol. I should slap dell for using model numbers that coincide with processors lol.

    I am giving cpu genie a shot for the first time, rmclock doesnt support half multipliers and my new cpu uses a half multiplier on the normal clock.

    It seems CPU Genie can hold the cpu at a multiplier give it a shot 30 day trial but its not free. Will answer your question though.
