From the pictures, that is a MXM 3.0b sized card. It is too large to fit in the M4700.

Where can I find GTX 1050 Ti card in MXM 3.0a format?
Has anyone tried this on M4700 or M4800 yet?

Surprisingly, the 1050 Ti costs only 1999 yuan which is $294 USD?
It's cheaper than M2000M while it has better specs?

    Quadro M2000M:
    1029 MHz, 640 shaders

    GeForce 1050 Ti:
    1493 MHz, 768 shaders

The 1050 Ti is unquestionably better (by about 75%). However, I rather doubt that it will work in the M4700 or M4800. As a Pascal card, it will require eDP for the laptop display (only available with the IPS display in the M4700, but later M4800s use eDP). That's not the only issue, though. We've been looking at Pascal cards in the M6700 and M6800 and they are not mostly working. Granted, there are not very many attempts yet, but check out the story from @iieeann in the M6800 GPU upgrade thread (link) — he tried it with both the M6700 and M6800. I suspect that it's a BIOS compatibility issue, these systems are just not designed to be used with the modern cards. I think that the situation will be the same with the M4700 and M4800, which use a nearly identical BIOS to their 17" counterparts.

Yeah, it seems like for that price investment, it's best to stick with GL553 laptop from ASUS which ships with 1050 ti...
You can get an open box GL553 for about $800.
Probably the same money you have to pay for a decent M4800 + 1050 ti card.
