Haha, good question. You can clean the keyboard easy as it is liquid proof.

Why don't you do just as the chinese restaurants. Put some plastic baking foil over it :)

No kidding, there are some good working plastic foil covers but nothing works as good as "feeling" the real keys...

true, I do like feeling the keys directly, but my friend who has a mac had this really nice silicone-key contoured cover for her macBook... and I have to admit, I was a little jealous....

Well the E6430 is out as well as the E5530, and we still don't have an Ivy Bridge BIOS for our E6520's. Looking like Dell is never going to make one.

Of course they don`t want the old E6x20 Latitude to compete with the new ones. And they could, because, besides Ivy Bridge, the difference is only in the USB 3.0, the Bluetooth 4.0, the 77 chipset, the HD 4000, the NVS 5200.
And that`s not a such big deal.

Perhaps, when it won`t matter very much, if you have E6x20 or E6x30, when they both will be older models, they could release the new bios for the E6x20...

To sell the new E6x30, Dell will never give the bios supporting ivy bridge:D

    Thanks for your information!
The thing is , I have to buy it now and the new series of latitudes/elite books will be available much later where I live.
I have to choose between these two. Also , I have found a good bargain for the 6520 that I will not probably get with the new 6530.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but any kind of search I do (even the Google search) does not give me an answer to my question.

On the Dell website under the drivers for E6520 > Windows 7x64 > Video there are 3 downloads. One is for the Intel graphics, but there 2 there for nVidia. The newest nVidia one seems to only reference "Audio" in the discription, but it is the same size as the older nVidia.

So, what drivers are most people installing for the nVidia graphics? Is the newest driver on Dell site the one to install? If so, why did they leave old one up? Is anyone installing the latest driver from nVidia's site?

I thought I had read somewhere that there was going to be an AMD video card option for the E6520? Was I mistaken or did it go away for some reason?

Thanks for any and all help that I get in return, it is greatly appreciated!
