That's impossible, to convert SATA to USB. They must be using the SATA connector to carry USB signals ... or PCI-E signals for that matter? That'd be quite wow...

I think you may mis-read what I mean, the NEC USB 3 controller uses the SATA connection.

Dezoris, have you gone with "temperature test". I am keen to see the results. Also any idea about 6 Cell-Battery how much time does it take before dying.

As per my quote it is saying - "Digital Microphone only". What is the meaning of this. Thanks for response in advance.

I'd kill to see a comparison between the E6320 and E6420. I just can't make up my mind between the two... even tempted by the 12" one too.

Any comments on battery life with either three or six cell batteries on the E6420 with the quad core CPU?

Does BIOS have the XMP option for faster memory or allow for custom speed and timing values to be entered?

Sorry, but I have a new question: is the touchpad a multi-touch device or it is the cheap device that traditionally equip Dell notebooks?

Also, I would be very happy if you could post the answer to a couple of the questions already asked: weight and battery duration with the 6-cell battery.

    Thanks in advance
    M.

Yes, thank you for the screenshot, that is good news.
801mV is quiet low compared to my 950mV.
About 29% less power consumption from the
VID-point-of-view, so there is no urgent need
    to undervolt at idle-load.

Dell/OEM BIOS' generally do not allow anything custom since this would lead to an increase in their warranty costs.
