E6400 Privacy Screen?

    i thought the privacy screen was just a filter than snapped over the lcd .. ie its an entirely passive device. There are little recesses in the corner of the LCD frame that it snaps into.

    Thats what I'm starting to think... Tech support couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.

    That's why I still haven't gone x64 yet. I have 4GB of RAM, but the problems I'd encounter with software that I use wouldn't be worth it.

    If you own any copies of x86 Vista or XP, try partitioning and installing it onto that new partition. Then install CP and see if it works. After that, you can just destroy the partition, and you'll know if it's because of x64 or not.
