    Hi,

I have spent the all weekend trying to solve the BT issue I'm facing.
I used to have a BT connection but after uninstalling the Dell
BT 370 software things went wrong.

Right now I''m using Broadcom driver ver 6.2.0.9000
The BT is listed under device manager
but I have this error code: Device cannot start.

I've tried lots of options but no success.

    Any help would be appericated.

    Thanks

I am running Win7 RTM, and the BT is working correctly. My BT driver is 6.2.0.8200. Microsoft Bluetooth enumerator is also installed.

Can you please specify the link for this driver?
Should I uninstall the Broadcomm driver?

Yesterday I saw the the btenum and 2 other services are stopped.
    Is this the right behavior?

Download the drivers from the Dell site and install them using the "run as adminstrator" option in properties. After install you'll have full control over BT again.

I reinstalled WIn7 and I think the problem persists.

How do I restart the BT device in Dell E6400?
I think this will solve my issue.

    Your solution did not work.
I'm getting this message: turn on the bluetooth device.

The BT is enabled in bios.
    I dont understand the message...

does the bluetooth icon light near your wifi?
if not, you have to turn them on physically
using the wifi switch on the side
just make sure, that on the bios, its enabled for both wifi & bluetooth
