E6400 6-cell vs 9-cell battery

    Wow, that ain't bad at all. The 9 cell on my M1330 had 2 layers of extra batteries, and lifted the back of the laptop up. That 9 cell is very small.

    I agree, they've done an exceptional job keeping the size of the 9-cell to a minimum! Take a look at the Lenovo ThinkPad T400 with 6-cell (top) and 9-cell (bottom). The 9-cell looks like a tumor or something bulging out!

    I've just placed an order to my new E6400 with a 9cell battery! YEY! :D
    Once I'll get it I'll post my review and offcourse photos of it . :cool:

    Does E6400 comes with any DELL battery management software to maintanince the battery life?
    I know on thinkpad, u can control when do you want to charge the battery. like when the battery level is less than 10%, laptop will start charge the battery. Otherwise, it wont charge it.

    AMEN to that! It makes much more sense to resurrect an older thread on the same subject than making a new one every month or two with the same info.
