The 4500m HD is the only option on the E4300. Plus, battery life and cooler operation are of more concern to me.

It has a decent processor and 4 GB of RAM (both are increases over my previous notebook).

Uh, those aren't bad specs on an Ultraportable. Hopefully, you're not going to play Crysis or even do heavy Photoshop or Illustrator work on there.

    No gaming will be done.

Heavy web surfing, videos, programming, etc. This system should be just fine.

I thought I noticed something like that in photos, but chalked it up to the less than optimal photos of the various E-series color systems found online (guess they are really that rare!) I did see a "black brushed metal" E-series in person (albeit a few feet away, walking by) at my local street festival. It looks very attractive. :)

Heavy Photoshop or Illustrator work is just fine on the Intel 4500M HD graphics systems.

I received it earlier and initial impressions are very positive!!

Build quality is great, the screen is beautiful, and it's extremely snappy. First thing I did though was uninstall the Dell Connection Manager.

I'll do a better review in about a week or so.
