E4300 -- Does it suffer from audio skips?

    My e4300 had terrible skipping/stuttering audio. I'm glad I found this thread because I was focusing on the audio drivers and it was the Intel storage controllers the whole time. I updated the Intel drivers to 8.8.0.1009 (2/11/2009) and for good measure also updated the wifi to 5.60.18.8 (8/21/2009) and it seems audio is working much better.
