I spent another hour on the phone with a definate promise from Jerimiah to call me back within 48 hours, he even gave me a case number...that was a week ago.

Did you speak to tech support in India or in your country?

Ideally, try to speak to one from your country, demand it if necessary.

I think my m6700 came with pro support so I was connected to some one in the states (although I live in Canada). He did everything while I was waiting on the phone and send me a dispatch number and instruction on how to install it.
    What country are you from?

I was able to order it from Pro Support. Their internal documentation (service manual) incorrectly states the location of the bluetooth module in the 6700.. Its next to the keyboard, not next to the battery like the 6600.

My IT department placed an order for my new M6700 a few weeks ago and forgot to check the IPS option- so they've reordered, but they still missed my request for bluetooth. Instead of cancelling a second order I plan to install an Intel 6235 wifi/bluetooth card as mentioned earlier in this thread. I'm wondering if anyone has actually checked to see if a: M6700 ordered without the Dell 380 bluetooth module are still built with the requisite cable? B: if it does come with the required connector, if the bluetooth module location is close enough to the wifi card location that it can be rerouted to the 6235? C: if the M6700 with A08 BIOS would recognize the bluetooth portion of the Intel 6235 or if Dell has decided that its their Bluetooth or no Bluetooth?

    Thanks in advance.

Doesn't the 6235 use the same antennas for both bluetooth and wireless, if I'm right, it's a simple swap of the NIC along with a driver reinstall.
