Dell Vostro V13 Sata III or just II?

    Yeah I can get the V13 with SSD for $300 or the V130 For $440 with an I3 also with an SSD

    The fact it is SATA 2 or SATA 3 has NO bearing on the boot time, that is drive latency, which an SSD would have .1 ms vs a fast mechanical hard drive's 4-11 ms latency. The V13/L13 should only be SATA 2, while the V130 again should only be SATA 2, while the V131 should be SATA 3 (Sandy Bridge model).

    From ebay? Depending on how much you're willing to spend you might take a look at some of the refurbs on tiger direct. Dell isn't my cup'o'tea but they tend to have some interesting looking buys.
