    Thanks Aaron.
Has there been a reliable way found to force Win10 to stop downloading/updating drivers yet?

My W10 upgrade initiated a driver update as part of the upgrade.

Although I have yet to go through a thorough testing of all my applications, they appear to be initially functions as normal. Only my Perfect Disc update refuses to be compatible. The correct Perfect Disc software works as before.

I am using Adobe Creative Suite CC and Office 2013 on a daily basis, hopefully there will be no shenanigans with those...

I'm trying to figure out how to set the audio output (sound from my speakers / computer) as my audio input instead of it coming from my webcam microphone. Does anyone know how to change it? I was able to do it before in my M6600 in Sound > Recording, but can't figure it out since I only have Microphone Inputs.

My main concern as well. So far only the once glitch in Photoshop with the graphics card being disabled which was corrected with a simple relaunch of the application.
Does your webcam have audio out? Webcam audio OUT to computer IN.

One more thing, does anyone have any suggestion as to an inexpensive way to get roaming internet connection? I don't have a smart phone and my facility won't be wired for it for several more months. I need it right away, but don't want to get into a contract.

There used to be a hotspot in my area that offed monthly subscriptions but it was discontinued. Now I'm left out in the cold unless I spend big bucks.

    Hello Everyone,

I have a peculiar problem that I would like to point out. My m6700 is running Windows 7, and I just tried to update the Intel HD and Nvidia drivers from the Dell SupportAssist. At first, the update goes smoothly, with both drivers downloading completely. However, some time between installing each driver, the screen starts flashing constantly (at approx. 2hz), and continues to flash throughout the installation and shutting down process. After restarting the computer, it is only when I reach the desktop screen (after the login screen) that the screen starts flashing again. Upon restoring Windows to before the update through Safe Mode, the problem is fixed. This has occurred twice, with the same solution. After some research, I'm thinking that this is a problem with the updated Intel driver.

    Any opinions would be great.

    Krane,

On my last trip to Costco, I think I saw a T-mobile 3G (or 4G) hotspot-device-thing selling for around $80. You might be able to try using that with a pay-as-you-go (prepaid) plan until you get internet at your facility.

    Laptopz,

You could also possibly go into the "Recording" settings, enable "Rec. Playback," and disable the microphone. It worked for me in the past with Flash Live Encoder.

I use these guys for my cell phone service. They use the T-Mobile network in the U.S. I see that they have a mobile hotspot thing. You'd have to buy that and a SIM card. Alternatively, you could find a WWAN card to use with the SIM card.

The price might be too expensive depending on how much data you need. It is $0.09 per MB. It's all pay as you go, there is no contract.

(In my case, I just use them for voice service and leave data disabled on my phone most of the time. My cell phone bill is super cheap.)
