How to enable the internal Intel® HD Graphics 4000?

I need this feature to get iAMT/KVM working.

    Thanks in advance

Which video card do you have?

If it's the Firepro, you can't use the Intel HD graphics. If you have a quadro, check in the BIOS and make sure that switchable graphics are enabled.

Isn't it also display dependent? With my screen Optimus is permanently disabled.

I check into this briefly early on and that's where I was directed to as well -- if it were available.

Quadros are also capable of turbo boost but that too is a manufacturers decision whether to enable it.

Why does the M6600 support the Firepro M6100 card but not the M6700? My old M6000 works fine but I don't want to have to give up on the M6100 I've just put in, surely there must be a way for the bios to recognise it. It just says unknown card, 2048mb in the (A14 version) Bios and doesn't recognise it in the AMD control centre either.

Has anybody managed to get the firepro M6100 to work on the M6700 precision?

Try installing amd drivers for either m66 or m68 from amd site. There are sprcific drivers for m6100 there. It shouldnt matter that card is unknown in bios.
