    Two versions known:

    80.04.33.00.35 - Original release
80.04.5A.00.05 - Updated vBIOS that works with legacy option ROMs disabled (required to enable secure boot for Windows 8)

Any other thoughts on this? 326.80 does not work - As mentioned 320.92 does..I'd like to install the latest Quadro ones from nvidia, but alas, no Premiere Color...

Just had Dell replace my display again. Had another smudge-type thing appear (not on the front of the panel where you can clean it off, but underneath somehow), just like the first one but in a different location on the panel. Not sure how long it has been there as it is a subtle defect, and this time it was towards the corner rather than near the center... but once noticed it is hard to un-notice. :p

Anyway they handled it promptly and without any hassle, so no complaints there.

Hey guys quick question. Is there any 4G/LTE WWAN Card available for M6700? Or are we still dependent on 3G?

I'm pretty sure it's still 3G, might be possible to add your own 4G card and accompanying SIM card though.

Thank you for your detailed diagnostic steps! Sadly I had some sort of brain freeze and completely forgot there were problems with my SD card reader. Until I tried inserting one and it didn’t work. My apologies for replying this late.

The idea of trying a live linux boot was a great one. I used the Ubuntu live image. It recognized the SD card and its contents without any issues. I think we can conclude that it is a problem with Windows, not the hardware.

I was looking at the wrong place in the device manager. Sadly my computer is in Dutch, but at properties it basically says that “This device is currently not attached to the computer, or there is no connection to the device. (Code 45)”

It does recognize that is a o2 micro card reader though. It looks like the driver is properly installed.

In the device manager itself though it has a small icon that is not present in your screenshot.

I have indeed verified that the SD card itself works. I can view pictures on it from an Ubuntu live image.

The problem has started since I upgraded to Windows 8.1. Ever since my SD card reader has not worked.

Never mind. I was able to enable it. If any of you guys here have the same issue, the entire PCI port got dissabled by Windows 8.1.

I right clicked on "Intel(R) 7 series/C216 Chipset Family PCU Express Root Port 8 - 1E1E" and was able to select enable.

This was a quicker fix then i anticipated...

Thank you. But still no success: any driver newer than 320.92 switches display to "full" (regardless of your PremierColor settings) :(

    Cheers,
    Alex
