    is not m 6600 - ddr 3
    and m6700 -ddr 3(L)?

    ddr3l is ddr3 memory but has much lower voltages, (eg.1.35v & 1.25v)

so any one tried 1.35v modules in m 6700?

The M6700 takes DDR3 just fine, it's what most of us are running. I'd venture a guess that it can take DDR3L too.

Likely not. Ignoring whether or not the internal connection is compatible, the M6800 drops the firewire port and moves the USB ports up, so the USB ports would not physically fit where they should in the chasis.

    It's a MXM Type B slot on PCI-E 3.0.

Yup, the PCI-E rev doesn't really matter though, you get more bandwidth with 3.0, but 2.0 is still able to keep up with single card setups for now. PCI-E is also forward and backwards compatible just like SATA.

Just to sum up, got replacement of battery and IPS display today. Everything went smooth battery is freshly produced, IPS is
LG Philips LP173WF3 (173WF3 [DELL P/N: 4259G]) according to HWInfo and overall I'm very satisfied :)
