Ok my qeustion is do I need to work with this AHCI driver or not since my SSD came straight in the machine from DELL but they have put the OS on the secondary HDD. Iv just installed Win on my SSD and got 2x windows at the moment but even before iv installed the OS on the SSD the computer and bios stated that the SSD is the primary drive. Iv entered BIOS aswell and it says under System configuration>SATA Operation ---> RAID On that one is checked should I check AHCI or what? I dont really understand this part and if I check AHCI should I reinstall the OS on the SSD or not?

If RAID is on in BIOS and the SSD was plugged when you installed Windows on your SSD, you probably already have AHCI turned on in the registry. Try changing the boot order and booting off of the SSD. This will either work, or you will get a Windows STOP blue screen. Then we can go from there...

Ok so whenever I boot up from disk I go under LEGACY BOOT select the CD/DVD/CD-RW DRIVE and start Win install but when I get to the part where I select where will be Win installed I select the SSD it says TYPE>PRIMARY then I select the HDD and when i click on it I get this>

" To ensure that all Windows features work correctly, Windows might create additional partitions for systems files. "

After I click ok it divides into a partition and crates the System partition on the HDD instead on the SSD...
Iv checked in BIOS information and the 128gb SSD which was put in by Dell is being recognized as the primary hard drive I cant understand why it keeps installing Windows on the HARD drive instead of the SSD... Please can some1 help me this is an agony... :(

Pull the HDD out of the system and do the install with only the 128G SSD in.

Dell usually has a system partition on the drive. If you want you should format and wipe all partitions and start from scratch with the SSD.

Hmm apparently the last attempt failed during install it rebooted and now i have a black screen with a white a little white line pulsing in the top left corner for like 5min now... Guess I should power the computer off and go with the HDD extraction tactic?

Yes, as Mano suggested, pull the HDD when installing windows to the mSata, thats what I did and it worked fine.

All drives are a bit smaller than their stated size, my 80GB intel mSata shows in windows as 74.6GB, 500GB hdd as 465GB etc etc

When you boot to the HDD does the mSata drive show up in computer management/disc management, is it listed as a basic disc?, not a dynamic disc, you should be able to format the mSata from here.

When you do get windows installed on the mSata and you put the HDD back in again, you will have to go back into the BIOS again and change the boot order to boot from the mini SSD again because for some reason it will change it back to the HDD, it only seems to do it the first time or if you put a new HDD in that slot, even if the HDD doesn't have windows on it and the mSata does, thus ending with not being able to find a bootable device
