Anyone with a spare 61WH battery for sale here? Can't source for Dell. Need the smaller battery to install SSD in 2.5" bay. Thanks.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was looking to prevent the problem all together. I know how to clean a screen but I wanted to prevent the screen from touching the keyboard at all while closed. I don't think it it easily fixable as the display has a lot of flex to it.

    Thanks though :)

Use the thin protector fabric that came with the computer. That's probably your only option.

Even a sheet of paper placed on the keyboard before you close the computer will be enough to prevent the transfer from keys to the screen.

Quick update on my DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSoD that I get occasionally when resuming from sleep or first booting my system. Changing the Rapid Storage driver didn't do anything, but I finally got the Windows Debugger tools to analyze the minidump files and Netbt.sys was implicated. That's a Microsoft driver, but searching around suggested that the true underlying cause may be LogMeIn Hamachi's driver. I was already running the latest version, but it seems that several others experiencing this same BSoD with the same file implicated in their dump files resolved the issue by uninstalling Hamachi. I've just done that and will use TeamViewer in the meantime for remote access, but hopefully this solves it. If anyone else using Hamachi has this issue, it may be worth investigating.

Or find a backpack / bag that does not crush the M3800. I have been using a Dakine Network 31L backpack for about a year with the M3800 and have not seen any issues.

I've had no overheating problems, even with extended gaming, and the carbon fiber bottom does a great job of protecting my lap compared to the run of Latitudes I had before this.

For the QHD+ Display, what do you set the text size the for the 3200 x 1800 resolution. I have mine set to 150% but wanted to see if anyone has found the optimal text size resolution.

Although I am certain that it has been covered early in this thread it has taken me weeks to read it all, so would prefer some advice to help my fallible memory.

To get an M3800 that you will use with both an installed SSD (mSata I recall and maybe even mSata2) with a preexisting 2.5 in M500 from an older machine, I would likely be best off ordering a model with a 256GB installed SSD (which would be in the mSata spot and is significantly less expensive then the 512 GB installed option) and the 61 ?hr battery option so I would have room to install my M500. Is there any drive holder necessary to hold the additional 2.5 inch drive?

    TIA for your help;.

PS, the Business Dell Site appears to have a model with both the 256GB mSata SSD and a 500GB Hybrid drive in the 2.5 inch slot. I presume that would be an easy change to add the M500 to by replacing the Hybrid it ships with.
