What is the normal delivery time for "in stock" accessories, 28-48 hours is noted, but can I thrust Dell on this?

That sounds like a realistic SHIP time, and based on my experience yes it's trustworthy. As for DELIVERY time, that would depend on the shipping speed you choose.

    bluriness.jpg

I can confirm that this Bluriness seems to be Intel related, so a driver update might solve that. In the screenshots the physical pixel matrix can be seen and how artwork is rendered. At native resolution 3200x1800 px Illustrator CS 5 is scaled to double size by windows. I drew a 45° angled line and turned antialiase artwork of. You can clearly see that windows is doubling the pixels correctly while lowering the resolution does some shift.

Its not possible to change resolution and scaling without logging out and in again. I did restart, power etc.

After reading your complaints about the font I started to worry. But thank you for posting the picture! I see now that it's pretty much the same font that Dell used in the previous generation of its XPS laptops. Nothing really new here. To me the font looks fine and will not cause any problems whatsoever. But then of course I am not a professional typographist.

I've been using the xps 17 l702x for the last two years. It has a normal font. And cost 1000 euro less than a similar macbook. The m3800 is a great laptop and a bit cheaper than a similar macbook. And the font makes it look cheaper.

It would look better with a normal font.

I just want to make clear that there are obvious reasons/issues with that font i'm not making up. That's why I keep on talking about it. And while the screen issues will be solved in the next one or two years the keyboard won't.
