    Yes, i remember your panel. But it's Touch !
    And he claimed to have ordered (or going to order) non-touch verison!
    Maybe dell decided to upgrade to 8-bit only 15.6" displays fhd touch. Who knows.
    7530 had always 6-bit and back then there were no touch displays.
    Let's see what they have done on this year's version of precision.

    Mine is a Glossy display, much like the XPS 15 2-in-1 I have. It is quite reflective, but vibrant and bright. Usable outdoors, but not in direct sunlight.

    If I get your question correctly, THE SCREEN DOES REFLECT and quite a lot!! But, is bright and vivid enough to be usable in daylight. Overall, the screen quality is very good.

    I think he's referring to the fact that the panel description states "AG" (anti-glare) but you certainly did not receive an anti-glare panel.

    The rule sticks. In the Precision, touch panels are reflective and all non-touch panels are matte.

    Oh Ok. Sorry my bad.

    There does seem to be an anti-glare coating of some sort to reduce glare. But overall it is quite a reflective panel. I guess 'AG' refers to the coating, and 'Matte' would indicate an actual matte panel.

    Yes, well, it looks like they refer to all of their panels as either "AG" or "anti-glare" and none of them as "matte" so it's a little bit deceptive that you can't tell the difference.

    Hi all.

    I've had a M6700 for 7 years which has finally died.

    I'm looking to replace it with a 7740 with RTX 3000 graphics card and i7 processor.

    Please can anyone who's got the 7740 with an RTX card tell me whether or not they're happy with it? I was going to get a ThinkPad P73 but read about a lot of problems with them so am looking at the 7740 instead.
