Hi, Just order mine, still waiting for delivery date...
I'm doing CAD occasionaly and have getting used to a middle/third mouse button, can the trackpad be setup in a 3 button mode?
Is there any chance of adding a Mobile Broadband card? Pherhaps using a SATA SSD and using the PCIe for the Mobile Broadband Card? How about antennas?

Bokeh, would you mind running few SSD test on the 512GB PM951 using any of the following utilities:
Crystal Disk Benchmark, AS SSD Benchmark or Anvil’s Storage Utilities (ASU)

    Will do.

Ran Crystal and even with the largest filesize it was underreporting speeds. The smaller the test size, the more error. Hopefully they will release a new version for PCIe ssd.

Bokeh, how did you run the BlackMagic Disk Speed test for a windows platform? I thought it was only available for Mac?

I was wondering what the battery life of the version with the 4K screen and the bigger battery would be if the screen is manually set to Full HD rather than 4K as compared to the battery life when running the screen at 4K

I'd wager a negligible difference for day to day (non graphically demanding) use. You'd gain more by lowering the screen brightness.

Are your screen stats of the UHD display? I ordered a 5510 with the FHD display as I have used 4K laptop displays in the past and have found them to be more of a hiderance than a help. And most of the time it will serve as a desktop replacement so I'll have it hooked up to a full sized display.

And have you found the laptop throttle CPU down when the lid is closed? My y50 has a "hidden feature" where it cuts the max cpu speed in half when the lid is closed, which is terrible if you are using an external display/keyboard/mouse with it.

Also the pic you show of the upgraded battery is 84whr when only 81whr is available on the website. That appears to be a typo as my 5510 invoice says its coming with 84whr battery.

Same way you'd migrate any other system: Make a disk image and store it on an external drive of any kind, swap the drives, transfer the image back. What is there to "figure out"?
