This is good news, just monitor if speeds don't go down after sleep or some hours working with OS without restart.

Will do tomorrow, many people in XPS 15 already did. What is your question? :)

My question is. Are there any issues to know. And will it work or do i install some drivers or bios settings to change. My 5510 comes 21 January. I have ordered with hdd and small Battery and 8gb ram. So i can install a fast ssd like the 950 pro and 32gb ram.

What boot up times are some of you getting on your machines? My machine gets to the Dell splash screen at the 10 second mark, and then at about 20 seconds begins to load the OS, and at 28 seconds is at the log on screen. This was slightly down from 35 second boot up yesterday, before doing a clean install and changing to AHCI. I went in and changed the Fastboot setting in the BIOS to "Minimum" to see if that would have any affect, but after subsequent reboots still getting to the log on screen at 28 seconds.

If nothing changed any you ordered without m.2 there is a problem with connector that isn't attached to the motherboard.
You need to look up this or XPS thread first pages for more info.

As for speeds my Last Time Boot is giving me ~14.4 whatever it means.

I have the stock PM951. Getting 10sec to Dell logo and 39sec to log in screen.
Also after the latest BIOS update the PM951 is still much slower, especially read speeds after the comptuter you close the lid. Dell really needs to fix this!

Sigh, Dell. Link? Looked through XPS thread, not seeing this. All I see is driver issues. I ordered 5510 with the default non-SSD and a 950 Pro to replace it. What am I going to need to do to get it working?

Also, on my original order (that I've since returned), I had the M.2 SSD. It came with:

412-AAHG Thermal Pad for M.2 PCIE SSD

Should I add anything for my 950 Pro?

    Thank you.
