No bigger processor option, either. Not that I was really expecting one, but one could have hoped!

No nits values for the screens in the manual and no "help me choose" link.

On the plus side, some nice Wigig cards available, and next-gen WWAN card -- am hoping these transfer over to the E5470.

Curious for both the E7470 and E5470 why they only certify these for 16gb. Hard to imagine them actively blocking what the processors are capable of.

As for prices, I'd expect them to be a little better in a couple months.

7440 but should work on both. As far as I understand it the e-port dock connector hasn't changed in years.

the 7370 doesn't have dock connector as it is a copy of the XPS 13 and is too small for it. however it will use the USB-C single cable power/data dock. And presumably they will have (maybe already have) a USB-C extended battery. But of course there goes hundreds more dollars if you go that route through accessories.

I'm sad it says only 16GB in the manual, but I guess I can wait for anyone to confirm if the 7470 can have 32GB RAM, even if unsupported. If so, I may go ahead and upgrade to it. I still really wish they had put the 14" screen in a 13" body with infinity edge. 12.5" 1920x1080 screen is basically a downgrade from my 2 year old 7440 screen at this point :\ even though infinity screen is pretty sweet. ALL LAPTOPS SHOULD HAVE NO BEZEL!!!! (just in case dell is listening)

Little disappointed how much bigger the E7370 is than the XPS 13

it is fairly close. I think it is beefed up for "business" use and some of the mil810 requirements they want. Is it thicker?
