I wonder why they skipped the 60 in the numbering and have gone from 50 to 70.

There's more evidence that E7270 and E7470 are valid model numbers in the list of compatible notebooks here.

Saw that too. Can't wait to see what they have in store.

Nice find. :) I'm surprised to see that a 1366 x 768 is still the default display option.

The PDF owner's manual is here. The battery is now internal with 8 screws to remove first. There are two sizes. This would make space for a 2.5" drive with the smaller battery although it isn't mentioned. There is also no hint of a dGPU version.

There is also now a 7370 latitude with 13" infinity display. I wish they had just gone with 14" infinity display, now I am forced to choose :(

"The Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series Ultrabook™ is the world’s smallest 13-inch business-class Ultrabook. Built using layers of unidirectional 40 ton carbon fiber, the same materials used in applications like spacecraft and aerospace, the Latitude 13 can endure the rigor of heavy business-use while maintaining an attractive allure (a machined aluminum option is available as well). The world’s only business-class Ultrabook with InfinityEdge display, the ultra-thin bezel around the screen creates an enjoyable and exquisite viewing experience for presentations, documents and videos. In addition, the Latitude 13 contains the industry-standard USB Type-C allowing one cable for docking, power, video, audio and data. It also includes Thunderbolt™ 3 for 8x faster data transfer than USB 3.0 allowing end users to power two 4K displays simultaneously. A perfect fit for on-the-go employees, the laptop offers extended battery life and offers advanced security features – including a smartcard reader, fingerprint reader, RFID reader, and security and encryption software."

The one catch for me may be it doesn't have a e-port dock which I use a lot for the big battery and docking station.

No discrete GPU like the 7450... :-(. Makes me chose as well.

Are you using a battery with the 7440? Or 7450? I never got the slice to work with either 7450s at my office. If that 13" doesn't have a dock....pass....boo! Looks awesome, but I need my dock.

With the web configurator you only get M.2 SATA3 drives, with Premiere you can select M.2 PCIe drives.

I must be patient. Really want to get a new laptop.....but 6300U i5, 2560x1440 screen, 1x8GB, 512GB PCIe SSD, backlit keyboard, webcam, fingerprint reader, 3 year pro support is just under 2k.

That 2560x1440 screen is tempting. Wish it wasn't touch.
