Oh please stop trying to act like a saint. You flamed me on my first post on this forum, hypocrite.

Vista is junk. XP > Vista and everyone knows it.

Windows 7 aka Vista SP2 will be good (already playing with it). But Vista blows.

Everyone see my sig for a link to his post flaming me.

P.S. I didn't waste my time reading your post.

How can you say Vista is good when you've never run XP? LOL

I've got the hardware for Vista but I choose not to run it because it sucks.

XP is lightweight and fast. I also like the look, feel and GUI better.

That is called a humorous comment. It is not supposed to be taken literary. It is done by taking a situation and exaggerate it to great proportion.

Example: you recall me saying that my motherboard integrated sound card makes everything sound like it was coming out of Transformers. Well that is in reality not entirely true, but it's a way to explain how it sounds in an amusing way.

Another example: many companies (or product) slogan uses the a similar thing. Like they would say "no other alternative" for a product, and stuff like these. For sure their is an alternative. But it's their way of saying, "We are so convinced that our product fits your needs, that you won't look somewhere else for a different product".

For the members involved in the flamewar: Please watch the language and stop insulting, you're better off reporting the offensive posts than responding to them and creating a flame war. Please behave yourself or further actions will be taken. Thank you.

Not that I have to explain it to you but I have a nlited XPP SP3 image for every single one of my laptops, and have it on at least four desktops. I was part of the XP beta as I was part of the Vista beta. You obviously neglected to look at my sig. My point was that one should have the option of running XP on an e4200 if it is desired at some point in the future. It's all about having options.

The GB post that is in your sig is neither offensive nor insulting. Instead it appears to be a light-hearted attempt at humor. That's my take on it. I suggest you relax and try to contribute to this thread, or at least to NBR, in a constructive way that will serve others.

Whats interesting is I just bought a Dell D420 with a media Dock with the DVD RW, for $405 in like new condition. It looks awesome and way powerful enough for me, I think these e 4300 and 4200 models are why, Dell has stopped offering D420's and now companies are dumping the d420's still in warranty!

I'm going from a Pentium M to the CoreDuo ULV. for me the performance will be a big increase I know! :D

I hear ya! Just add a mtron 1.8" PATA SSD and you are all set for a year or more of fine computing.

javitxu: Thanks for the benchies. They are consistent with what we have seen in the past so that's good.
