    I haven't been able to run the heat tests yet. What program do you all recommend?

    Funny thing is, one of the RAM sticks went bad this past week and the result was the Blue Screen of Death. I came back to this forum for possible solutions and was able to isolate it to that one stick. I guess the brand Dell used was pretty cheap. Since the laptop was overheating before the mod, it may have damaged the stick of RAM. The memory did pass a test by Memtest86+ though . . .

    So what should I use to test the temps?

    Any game will do. For example, Trackmania Nations is free and should work.

    To monitor the temperatures use HWmonitor. Just launch HWmonitor, then run Trackmania Nations and play for 20 minutes or so. Then quit the game and go to HWmonitor and see what are the max temperatures recorded.
