Backlit keyboard for the M4400 (or others) -- is it worth it ?

to follow up...I do really appreciate the backlit keyboard...and I DO touch type properly since a kid... If nothing else, it just looks nice.... I had started another thread same topic.

 

when i sleep my notebook sleeps on the desk next to my bed

its one of those things that you have to deal with working in several different time zones. sometimes i get a call in the middle of the night and i have to log on and check something up. the backlit kb helps me "get my bearings" on the keyboard.also its difficult to touch type when your leaning over sleepily while still in bed lol.

but i suppose this is quite a specific use.
