PPPS: the darn thing won't even type in all the letters. I apologise for how my post reads at times but will keep it like so for the record.

Sounds extremely frustrating. After you refreshed windows 10 did you immediately get these problems or was it after you also installed other programs? If you haven't already, while waiting for Dell to resolve or refund I would try without all the other programs being installed to see if it at leasts is stable for a couple days with just the Win10 (or try win7, don't have to authenticate it right away--- just to see if it more stable?) and then perhaps slowly install each program but wait between each to test them well before installing the next bit of software/program.

It is faulty device(s) in your system or program particular to your setup causing a conflict (what else could it be). If it is just a device perhaps an entire exchange for complete laptop replacement can solve this. But if program conflict with a particular device then really need to know which device and get your next system configured differently without said device (perhaps try quadro), else you'll get same problem.

Or wait for 7520 if you can? Whichever system you get, I will try to follow because I'm curious how this plays out.

    Update.

After 3 attempts to fix the system (including shipping it to service centre in Germany), Dell issued a brand new replacement which has shipped and should be here in the next couple weeks.

Upon digging more and more I suspect the issue lies with Windows (both 10 & 7 do exactly the same thing). Error events 1001 and 1000 seem to indicate the issue is with file access permission. I haven't had a chance to study it further but if the new system displays the same problems, I will get Microsoft involved.

No excuse for Dell for releasing a Windows Approved machine that clearly has issues working under Windows.

Final update. New laptop is flawless! Not a single issue. The config did change from 330GB Intel drive to 512GB. I'm very happy.

PS: Seen new 7520 just now but no 1575M anymore?

the 1575M V6 hasn't been released yet, therefore it's no available for order.

    The 1575M V5 was released about 6-8 months after 1505M V5 and 1535M V5. Give it a few more months :)
