    ok an little update here.
after a little bit of chatting with my dell salesman (not tech support - salesman!) and my verdor (3) - i figured it out and it's now working perfectly :)
I just needed to write my verdors APN adresse in the profile of my broadband.. - very easy indeed!

I did first use DCP connection manager, it worked ok (except GPS), recognised the UK T-Mobile network and automatically supplied the correct APN, I now use the Sony Ericsson Wireless Manager software instead, I can't remember if it found the correct APN, or if I just copied the same value I had from DCP.

Anyway, I see you have it working now which is good.

    Hi All,
I'm using DCP Connection manager on a E4200 with Vista Business x64. I'd like to try Sony Wireless Manager instead.
1 - Do I keep the actual DELL drivers installed and remove DELL sotware only ?
2 - What version of Sony Wireless manager do I download and where ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Fred

Finally, it was simple. I only need to desinstall DCP connection manager 64 and install Ericsson wireless manager (32 bit version) coming from Dell Mini 9 support.
