    And I agree. DELL needs to up their QC and check everything very closely. Don't let it get to the customer first to find the flaws. I don't have time for that.

    I just ordered a Latitude E6400 and E4200 for some client's of mine. I will let you know how they are once I receive them.

    I just wanted to check back to this thread and see if anyone has this Samsung LCD for the E6500. Any new users of this particular display to give any feedback would be much appreciated.

    Hi

    Just thought i'd mention that i had the LG 15.4" WUXGA Ultrasharp screen in my vostro 1510 which developed these 'slightly darker' patches across the bottom half of the screen

    one phone call to dell and they sent around their favourite spotty tech geek and he swapped out the lcd for another lg version, havent had any issues with this screen so far

    Thanks man. Yes, I have already tried the LG's and do not think they are as sharp or bright as the Samsumg's. The only gripe with the Samsumg is the uneven backlight and purple tine on the bottom of the screen. I will deal with it now and hopefully get another Samsung ata later time with this issue resolved.
