    Thanks yo :)

Sager NP9752 is now confirmed to be compatible with this. Now, I'm just waiting on Mythlogic to have some P751ZM (hopefully LVDS also) in stock and send me pics of the keyboard. The pics they have up right now are what I want - but need confirmation. The Sager keyboard is also great as seen from the reviews, I'm only talking aesthetics though.

Ah, so the journey is coming to a close. I can patiently wait out this nmonth too lol.

All videos have been posted in the first post. If you have a specific request, feel free to ask. I plan on doing a better video review time permitting. You may end up hearing my kids in the background or walking in front of the camera, but I give up. If I want to do a video, I have no way to get rid of them for 30 minutes while I record the video, so will have to make do.

Aloha HT, great reviews of the 2 laptops I'm stuck between buying right now, the P650SE, and the P750ZM. I was wondering what the battery life on the P750ZM was like? I figure I'd have it plugged in for gaming, but I'm wondering how long it wold last for just surfing the net, or watching a movie on battery.

As long as they offer the LG model then yes it will be LVDS, however I'm sending WN a test and review so hopefully sometime this week or early next week we'll get an update on impressions o:

Currently debating between sending him a Gloss or a Matte version......ffffff

    N/m

    Answers that question.

    And http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/auo-b156hw01-v7-outscores-v4-a-lot.618681/

Puts it back on the table.... I think I might go w/ v.7 then ( ignoring some of the insanely over exaggerated people using 6000W bulbs in their rooms).

And one more to backup said decision.

Now to find a place that actually sells a legit panel....

A quick question, does the laptop get really hot as in outside (laptop body)?

I'd be tempted to mod the dell 240W brick for travel myself and then have the 330W for home use.

the 230W brick aint that large and heavy though! surprisingly, it seems to me to be more compact / lighter than my previous 180W clevo brick for the P150HM :)

Damn! With Skylake release , desktop CPUs may replace mobile CPUs in that case going forward (hoping that the die shrink is going to make them more efficient and cooler) ? :)

Btw, do you or anybody here happen to know how to gain access to ram slots beneath the keyboard on this bat machine?

remove all screw of back panel / remove additional screw labeled "K/B" / flip machine over / with a tiny screwdriver, gently(!!!) push back the plastic pins holding the keyboard in its place. there are like a dozen of them all around the keyboard edges. once done, gently and slowly remove the keyboard cuz it comes attached with two cables!

once thats done u can access the ram slots underneath :)

its a bit more fiddly than with other clevos, but definitely doable with a bit of patience :)

While we don't see much if any CPU throttling the high temps are a bit concerning.
A good option is to get the i5-4690K , you save some money and can put it away for BROADWELL once it's released.
Unless you need the extra CPU power for work or other projects the i5 should still be more than enough everything else.
    Great initial impressions HT!

After you flip machine over, use a thin plastic spudger or plastic butter knife to get at those tabs. And they're on the left, top and right sides. Basically you want to pull as much as you can, without bending or breaking, so you stay above those tabs and it slides out toward screen. I recommend not using a screwdriver or you'll ding thebplastic edge around keyboard. Just wanted to clarify that so nobody messes up their machine. I had to figure out the K/B screw part myself which was driving me nuts and then the tabs.

Yep, they don´t even mention the small plastic tabs, they just tell you to push the keyboard through a hole from the underside after removing the 2 screws.

Watched all the videos HT and gotta say I'm very impressed. (Not with your gameplay but with the laptop ;).....kidding you are much better than I am).
Anyway does under volting help with temps? Laptop cooler? Raising the back?
GPU temps are amazing but the CPU temps could use some help.
Also where those vids done with the Auto fan feature of Full fans?
One thing that surprised is hoe good the speakers sounded for a laptop.
Thanks HT for all your work.

Yes. UV helps. Knocked almost 10* off my normal use. Prime95 still whups some serious ass though. Yes. And speakers are awesome. Very awesome. Gotta sit in front of one to believe how awesome they are.

    Thanks pukemon!
Not interested in the Prime95 results more interested in gaming results since that's what I'll mostly be doing on this laptop other than general entertainment fun stuff :)
Glad to hear UV knocks off that much for the temps.
I know every CPU is different but how much did you UV (I'm guessing with the voltage offset feature, haven't used XTU in a while so a little rusty on how things work) .

-85mv for everything except cache. That was -125mv. I'm probably going to try and go lower on the cache when I get time. I know 100mv crashes my system almost instantly. And remember YMMV. Seems almost everybody is getting at least -50. And I expect at least another couple degrees drop when I get gelid GC extreme on there. Needs screws first.

Prime95 is a good test when not in use or overnight. I dou t you want to test your UV when fragging. Would make for a frustrating experience.

Almost 10. My system was peaking around 95-96. Now the highest I've seen is 86. But usually 84-85. I reset my min/max occasionally to see how ell it does. Can't wait to repaste.

So GC extreme seems to be better than ICD....nice!
Never used it but is it easy to work with and how long does it last between paste jobs?
When I've used ICD in the past it does a great job and seems to be pretty effective even after a year or so after use.
I usually clean out the fans a couple of times a year but repaste only if necassary .

havent been testing it long enough for projections on how long a paste job lasts with gc extreme. its only been 1-2 weeks now, but the handling of the paste is actually easier than with ICD due to lower viscosity and easier removal, at least thats my subjective opinion thus far.

I would guess GC lasts about a year. I noticed my temps are going up a little on my np5160. ICD is abrasive and why I dont use it.

After having some time to use the basic IPS display, how is it in terms of lag and motion blur? Do you think it's fine for everyday gaming?

i guess since the difference between the two is so small, some users are bound to have different results in their specific scenarios :) so no surprise there, really...

cant do anything wrong with either of these pastes :)
