Oh yes. They have refunded me, and now the bank is processing it. I'm quite chuffed about the whole affair :D Can't wait to get the KM1. :D Here hoping John & Crew will sprinkle some of their magic dust on the machine so that I get temperatures like yours :D

Well what we actually need to do now, is say that @skandal is an amazing dude, because we need him to help me out with the app, this dude is some freaking monster coder! So let´s make this evil plan where we all praise him so he feels compelled to come visit me and help me out! We will keep this a secret, between us, without him knowing. All the community will benefit with the things he is bringing to the app.
Now let our evil plan start!

Got my KM1 today, and after getting it setup with Windows 10 and all the drivers, I noticed my battery percentage hasn't increased. Been at 88% since first power on. Now there was a piece of paper saying I needed dual chargers when I opened the lid, but I only ordered a single GPU system.

Maybe Flexi Charger in bios is set up for lower max battery level. Just use your machine on battery a while, then go back to AC and you will see it start charging :) Single 330w is enough for single 1080.

Constand 90% to 100% charging can wear down the battery hence the protection but you can turn it off if you like.

Does installing windows 10 creators update reset the calibration profile. Do I need to re-apply the calibration profile provided by HidEvolution? I notice in the color management advance tab the default device profile is the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 w/c is created on 1998 and set as default.

There is another profile w/c has the same filename in the usb memory provided by HID created on march 2017. Should I manually add this again?

Yeas it did for me on my desktop. It's pretty simple though if you have the profile. @Phoenix has instructions in one of his threads, if you don't know how to set it up.
Can't search on the phone for some reason.

Here are how the Spyder5Pro App set the options in Control Panel / Color Management (ignore the model displayed that's from my previous laptop's screen)

Now, click on the Change system defaults button on the bottom right of the Advanced tab.

Then head over to the Advanced tab again in the new Window that popped out and check the box at the bottom which says: " Use Windows display calibration" and you will see the changes in color immediately when you do that.

On the last part, should I change the device profile? In the pic above it's set to the old profile.

I have a question for those of you who are using the Coolermaster U3. Are you guys using any dust filters with your U3?

With the P775DM3 I had, dust was a major issue. I am just thinking if dust filters would help with that.

I used @Papusan 's method recently. Almost got kicked out of the house. Accidentally grabbed the expensive ones :(
Be careful. Or just grab some filters online xD

That is an interesting solution. I also need to order new fans to replace the ones that came with it.

I am thinking about putting dust filter under the fans to reduce the amount of dust they would suck in.

Just to be safe, I will grab some online! As it is, high command doesn't like the idea of massive laptops, she hated the P775, and I had to work to get her acquiescence. Now if I start digging around in her wardrobe for the cooler, well that won't be good for my well being!

The Flexi Charging option is probably enable in Bios. It Helps prolong battery life. you can go in bios and disable it if pretty easy.

That is actually good and how HIDevolution sets it up out of the box on all the Clevos I bought from them. Flexi Charger limits your battery charging to not exceed 88-90% in order to prevent it being from overcharged and thus reducing its life in a short period of time. This way, it will last you longer.

You do lose 10% of the charging capacity but it's better than killing the battery. you can always disable Flexi Charger in the BIOS if you want it to charge to 100% from the Advanced Power Options, I think it's located in the 2nd tab of the BIOS

Hey guys anyone know of a cheap dock that has 6 USB ports 2 DisplayPort mini and connects to the laptop via one of the type c ports? Also anyone know of a single 600w+ power brick that works with the dual 1080 laptops?

    Thanks!

Hi, guys) What 4k screen should I install on P870KM1 laptop with QHD 120Hz stock panel in order not to loose g-sync? Is it the regular AUO used for the past year in Saget systems?

10W isn't much power to run the unit. Les than from my U3 mod. Why not buy a proper cheap portable AC unit and put under your desk? You find them in different sizes and power.

That would be interesting. I will be interested in seeing what you come up with. I have been thinking about designing something myself but haven't gotten around it.

We have one chap here in the lab who has designed a really nice LN based solution. He is actually planning to patent it. I will see if he would let me photograph it and share it.

maybe me and someone else can co-design something. I love the vapor chamber cooler for the GPUs, but maybe we can take away one of the heat fins from the gpu cooler which doesnt have a fan on it at the moment and put a heat pipe that goes from the left and the right rather than just to the right. Then i can see if there is a custom fan that will fit on it even if its a bit small.

I think we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves here. It would be nice to see what performance gains you can achieve with incremental changes to the existing solution. There is a reason why Clevo is using it, after all they have invested considerable time and resources in the existing design.

Regardless, I will be interested in design ideas.
