What's your FPS on the Ghost recon built in benchmark at ultra (optimized setting by nvidia geforece experience)? Before I wast getting around 75fps but when I install the windows 10 creators update, the fps drops to 55fps.
Just use this https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU- to set your processor to its default clock.

How much should the core offset be? -

Alright I set it to default settings on XTU and changed the offset to -150 and heres a pic:
still hot right ? -

@Elyask
You never wanna go as low as a -150mV offset on a 7700K, that was a good offset for 4.2 GHz on a 6700K and would be very unstable for a 7700K running at 4.4 GHz which is why you got those BSODs!
Max undervolt I would set for a 7700K is -100mV, then open Clevo Control Center, Choose the Performance Plan, then click the icon on the bottom left (System Program) and set the fan profile to Overclocking which makes the fan spin up faster to keep the temps low
Don't use Throttle Stop, just set the undervolt in XTU until the Prema BIOS is out for the KM1
PS: Why did you even want to undervolt more than -100mV in the first place?
As long as the CPU is in the 80-91C temp range it's fineLast edited: Apr 6, 2017 -

Synthetic stress tests are not enough to test stability. Try long gaming sessions, try opening 50 tabs in Google Chrome in one shot and see if it crashes.......
I have a bookmarks folder in Chrome called Software Updates which has like over 50 bookmarks to check the latest software updates. Sometimes I would *think* that my undervolt/overclock is stable as it passes AIDA64 Stress test just fine but when I launch that bookmarks folder in one shot, the computer freezes.

If you don't see any error infront of you doesn't mean it's not a risk, stuff can happen in the background like data corruption or other errors that are hidden -

I was also surprised to know that running games will get the temps to 100c and that i must keep the fans at max speed if i wanna play something on 1440P. -

Would really help if other with the same configuration as me would chime in too.

http://download.windowsupdate.com/d..._a7d437c5bcc172e3d23ba5ffb8940374b2a85b17.cab
to install it, rename the file to myupdate.cab
Place it in a folder in th root of C: and name that folder update
Now while you are in the root of C:, click on file on the top left, then run powershell as admin and paste the following command
dism /online /add-package /packagepath:C:\update\myupdate.cab -

also, go to PC Settings, Game DVR and disable all Game DVR stuff -
Dunno if this helps but it's very peculiar, this is not an external display source like I thought but it has to do with my external GSYNC monitor and DP.

Guys, my fans sounds differently than before. I have 2x cats in house and I think that some of their fur get beneath fans. Is it safe to somehow rip off fans and clean em?

Guys,
My 870KM1-G has got 2 GTX1080 GPUs and 2 330W adapters. I am wondering if it is possible to disable one of the GPUs or both of them and use the Intel Core graphics card when I am not doing heavy work? In that case, can I just plug in one power adapter as the power assumption is supposed to be much less? Thanks. -

If you disable one 1080 you can pretty safely use a single brick if you want to travel lighter.

just got my p870km1 and gotta say... this thing runs pretty warm. the 7700k runs pretty warm and needless to say the 1080s do max out around 85c under crysis 3 after 30 minutes of game time.
My main problem here is the CPU... some heatsinks might not make good contact with the cpu.... I think thats probably going to be my problem. I have delidded my cpu and used liquid ultra (cpu to heatsink) and i am @ 4.6 with voltage of 1125 (1.25v)
Any advices? -
-
sorry i mean to say 1125 (1.125 -
What temps are you getting? -
Meaker@Sager Company Representative
What temperatures are the CPU running at @Juang1985 ?
-
Running around 80c-85c while gaming heavy CPU games like overwatch. -
-
if you run @ cap fps of 130 it does not. Try uncapping fps and see it gets warm. Is set to "display based " by default and that is about 130 on this display. FPS capped @ 130 cpu stay around high 70s but unlocked FPS aroun3 180 to 200 is about 85c -
Sometimes certain cores hit peak load, but it settles down to 30-40% usage. With the fps at around 175-225. -
Interesting... are you using laptop cooling? i have never seen 45-50c while playing a game on the p870mk1 or on my old p870dmg. u must live in Alaska haha -

Try this. Lay it black side down/CPU side up on a concrete floor. Take your thumbs (or the part of your palms below your thumbs if it hurts your thumb tips too much) and press down on the outer ends of it where the screw holes are at the same time. This will bow it the opposite direction with the heat pipes as a fulcrum in the middle. It won't smash the heat pipes.
It will take a fair amount of pressure, but copper is soft so don't go hog wild or you'll bend the crap out of it. Do it a little bit, check with a straight-edge, go a little more if you need to. Once the straight edge lays flat and no light/gap shines between the straight edge and the heat sink, bolt that sucker down again and see if it helps. I've done this several times on Clevo heat sinks. That copper plate needs to be two or three times thicker than what it is.Last edited: Apr 10, 2017 -

I should mention however , that i redid my thermal pad setup, so that might be it for the GPU's. But it still wont explain your CPU temps.
