in your case i would try to apply the default settings in XTU and uninstall it and recheck, if it doesn't work out that way i then probably would do a CMOS/NVRAM Reset, just pull out the battery and power plug then the CMOS battery itself too and press the power button for some seconds, i do 30sec-1min, after that just replug the CMOS battery and reinsert the battery itself and the power cable. In that case the book should reset itself to stock values, just redo your bios then and use @unclewebb Throttlestop 8.30 insteadi'm using it right now too for undervolting and everything works like a charm (mostly lol)
-
1,875W is default according to XTU
. I tried setting to max value and then uninstalling, but that doesn't seem to work.
Where is the CMOS battery located? -
under the keyboard, you just have to open the back plate and unscrew the keyboard screws and then you can raise up the keyboard on top and there you go
but let me doublecheck i open up mine
edit: well can't don't have a needle or a thin thingy here atm to press out the keyboard on the backside, lol.Last edited: Nov 20, 2016 -

Would someone with a FHD screen please try reproduce the problem I mentioned in this post: http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...oenix-2-is-here.794530/page-728#post-10392086

For P75xDM2-G owners, I was browsing around and saw that AVADirect has a P750DM2-G
option with a 120Hz FHD G-SYNC screen: http://www.avadirect.com/Clevo-P750...YNC-Graphics-Gaming-Laptop/Configure/10731717
I hope this is not a typo as I would love a 120Hz screen in this laptop!
Addendum, other stores have this listed as an option:
Prostar:
Sager:
R&J:
@Donald@HIDevolution any word on this upgrade for HIDevolution? You don't have this option listedLast edited: Nov 20, 2016jaybee83 and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

@Phoenix @Donald@HIDevolution so same panel as the 120Hz Aorus x5 v6/2016 Alienware 15?

and http://www.xoticpc.com/aorus-x5-v6-pc3k3d.html
and http://www.aorus.com/Product/Features/X5 v6
The resolution says (2880x1620)
Isn't that a bit different than the panel I have in my sig? my resolution is 2560x1440 -
@Phoenix first of all the link to HIDEvolution is not the Aorus x5 v6 (which has a GTX 1070). Second XoticPC does not have the Aorus x5 v6 with the 120Hz panel listed. Aorus' site does list it in the specs. block: "15.6" Full HD 1920x1080 Wide Viewing Angle 120Hz & 5ms Anti-Glare LCD support NVIDIA® G-SYNC™Technology"
2880x1620 is also known as 3k which is higher res. than your 1440 2560x1440 panel. -

both resolutions actually exist
my previous panasonic panel was 2880x1620 res

Hey guys!
Can anyone please help me to find the factory EC and 2nd EC? I have installed EC 1.05.03 and 2nd EC 1.05.02 and one of them has a bug. When turning on the laptop the screen turns off for a second (probably this is how they "fixed" the colored lines at bootup), but this is not a problem, the real problem is that when a 3D app is running, the CPU will not hold the clocks. With these EC version cache ratio is also reported wrong to the Clevo app (it will only show x40 for cache despite being higher in the BIOS), and it also seems (maybe this is just reported wrong too) that the core clock are not stable when an 3D app is running.
Clocks during Rise of the Tomb Raider:
Clocks during FireStrike test:
As you can see on the picture, its not because it is overheating.
Can someone help me out with an EC and 2nd EC that does not have these bugs?

If you do get it, let me know and I will guide you how to safely flash it step by step so no issues would occur. It's super easy manShakeeb Anjum likes this. -

It's because people just take a file that's close in name and flash it, bricking their system.

The problem is, it takes days for my reseller to reply and when they do, they don't really want to send it to me...if they even have the EC files, because even amongst BIOS versions, they only have 1.05.01.
I wish it was easier to get BIOS/EC updates for these laptops...
@Phoenix: That is why I allays tripple check the name of the BIOS file before flashing.Papusan and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -

IMO they should be publicly available and the installer would warn the user if he is trying to flash it on a laptop that the BIOS not intended for.
Please call your reseller and tell them that you have no other way to get it but from them but if they don't have the 1.05.04 then I don't know what else can be done
ohhh wait a minute, go to XMG's site, they usually have the BIOS for the public, but you have to figure out what model yours is in their products as they have a different naming scheme for them: www.mysn.de/secure/userarea/download.asp?KategorienOrder=010;010&show=Support
the BIOS would have the XMG logo though but it will be the stock BIOS still -
The problem is EC. I need EC 1.05.02. and 2nd EC 1.05.01 and these are nowhere to be found :/ Hell, I even doubt my reseller have these (considering that even amongst BIOS versions they only have 1.05.01.)
Even XMG only has the BIOS for download, they have EC available for download for all other models, but not the P775DM3-G...Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -

Have you tried an email to ask?
-
The reply:
"Thank you for your reply,
I can confirm your bios verion is 1.05.01,
I wouldn't recommend flashing your bios as it can brick the system which will void warranty, "

Does anyone here have the AUO B173HAN01.1 panel and can confirm that it is indeed a 120Hz FHD (1080p) panel? I looked up the spec sheets of it and it says it is only 60Hz, but I have seen Eurocom list it as 120Hz and also seen people call it 120Hz before but not recently.

Hello guys? What is the latest bios version for p775dm3-g?
-
-
My friend's pc reports
1.05.01
And EC 1.05.02
Bought from syspack Italy.
Could you tell me where to find the updates?
Because his 6700k stays permanently on 3999 GHz, never scales down in balanced mode. Only 1000 in battery mode
This way His Temps get to 80C playing bf1, of wich I am little concerned
Edit. Xtu is messing up frequency.
Could anybody tell me base clocks and turbo ratio on 6700k on Clevo p775dm3-g?
Resetting default Xtu profile and uninstalling it, it brings the turbo ratios to something like 33,33,32,31 and base 2.7ghz.
Seems not right for a 4ghz cpuLast edited: Nov 22, 2016 -

I was wondering if anyone here could confirm that this is indeed an FHD 120Hz Matte Panel because they have it? I can't possibly be the only one interested in an FHD 120Hz Matte Panel, right? -

Notebookchek actually measures 25-35 ms for b2w and g2g.Last edited: Nov 22, 2016i_pk_pjers_i and Spartan@HIDevolution like this. -
Edit: To put it into a little more context, 16ms is a single frame of input lag. So while 5ms is of course what I'd want to shoot for, if I gave you two screens and one had a 5ms response and another a 25ms response, you probably couldn't tell the difference. Overall input lag plays a major part as well which is more than just response time.Last edited: Nov 22, 2016i_pk_pjers_i, ccarollo, Spartan@HIDevolution and 1 other person like this. -
Ah, that makes more sense, thanks.
