Why not flash your 2nd card and see if the values seem to work? If they do, swap it round into the primary slot and test it. If it does work then you can flash both.
If not you can flash it back.

Anyone knows if other reseller's units can flash XMG's bios? I kinda want to update it and see if it have any improvement on POST times....
-
I use the XMG bios on my Clevo P751DM-G non branded version and latest 05 bios actually seems to post longer than former 04.

Thanks for posting that! That was very nice of you. I wish Kingston made a single 16GB stick

Are there any 17" panels that can do 120Hz? I really want to do 3D on this thing.

I am really interested in getting the Eurocom Sky X6. My question is, do we know if the hdmi 2.0 support hdcp 2.2?
Thanks -
I'm dying to know too if any of these clevo laptops support HDCP no one has given me a clear answer yet. It's the biggest mystery of these machines. So I pulled the trigger a bought my blind not knowing if it has HDCP 2.2 waiting for it to ship.
One way would be if someone could trying playing some 4K netflix that I believe uses HDCP 2.2 and would tell us if it works or not. I hope there's someone out there that could help us with this test.Sunderlizard likes this. -
The new bios seems to being no improvement on POST time.

Well my laptop will arive sometime next week so it looks like it may be up to me to be the 1st person to test, and report back if there is HDCP 2.2 support. Wish me luck

I believe YouTube also has some 4k videos, should i just play them or it's something else.

Pretty sure YouTube 4K does not need hdcp 2.2. Netflix does, if you have that, try testing with house of cards.
-
Ultimitely you need to test it with a UHD 4k Blu Ray disc to be for sure. So you'll need an external Blu Ray drive, and play one of the few 4K Blu Ray titles that are out there, but I'm not sure that those Blu Ray 4K disc are true UHD using HDCP 2.2.
Your best bet for right now is to try 4K netflix, and 4K amazon titles. Youtube 4K does not use HDCP 2.2 at least for the free stuff.
Here's one to try

***The Tricky Part***
You have to keep a close eye on this, because if with most UHD titles if HDCP 2.2 is not detected it will downscale the quality to plain HD, no 4K. So make sure it's actually playing 4K resolution. If your up for the Challenge give it a try. I'd encourage all Batman 2.0 Owners to give this a try and report back.Debaiky likes this. -
Now while we keep the HDCP 2.2 conversation going.. another quick question
Can I boot to windows 7 with Samsung 850 Pro M.2? -
Now if you meant the Samsung 850 Pro, then there shouldn't be any issues with that configuration and Win7Last edited: Dec 4, 2015 -
Can someone comment on the noise of the P750DM? Is it loud under normal load? Also, what are the temps to be expected on 970M and 6700k?
I looked around, and some people were getting up to 90 degrees on the CPU. Isn't that a little hot? -

Speaking of undervolting does anyone have a good walk through or guide for undervolting the dm?

Forgot to add,a freeze or restart under windows 10 signals to low of a voltage,if your safe number happens to be -185 you may want to add plus 5 so -180 to compensate for inaccuracy(can't find the word i'm looking for).
750zm,870dm forums lots of valuable information regarding fine tuning.YouTube has some vids aswellLast edited: Dec 5, 2015Major_Hazzard and CaptainDM like this. -
Doing light tasks like web browsing it is around the ambient noise of my house and office so I don't notice it.
When gaming, compiling, etc. it becomes fairly audible, but it's no more obtrusive than my Macbook Pro was. -
Woops; double post

Does the p771 have nvme support out of the box? Or do I have to update bios?

I can't use either netflix or amazon prime because of my geographical location is not supported.
Thanks -
Sorry wrong post -
Also, you may check if you installed the windows driver from here:
http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/SSD/global/html/support/downloads.html -
Windows don't recognize it, and if I try to install yhe driver for it I get an error message saying that that it can't find the ssd and therfore can't install the driver.

I read your review it was nice and it's the only one in French -
Is there anyone else that would be willing to give Netflix 4K a try or Amazon 4K a try to see if HDCP 2.2. works with the DM? -

Got the panel to 100hz stable, 110hz blackscreen. Not too bad for a screen thats rated for 75hz.
