Why not flash your 2nd card and see if the values seem to work? If they do, swap it round into the primary slot and test it. If it does work then you can flash both.

If not you can flash it back.

Prema does hex modding... If you use his BIOS, you'll have problems... For your normal BIOS, should be doable...

just make sure u use the correct model designation of their machines, aside from the rebranding the machines are absolutely identical, no matter which reseller offers them :)

Are there any 17" panels that can do 120Hz? I really want to do 3D on this thing.

I am really interested in getting the Eurocom Sky X6. My question is, do we know if the hdmi 2.0 support hdcp 2.2?

    Thanks

I'm dying to know too if any of these clevo laptops support HDCP no one has given me a clear answer yet. It's the biggest mystery of these machines. So I pulled the trigger a bought my blind not knowing if it has HDCP 2.2 waiting for it to ship.

One way would be if someone could trying playing some 4K netflix that I believe uses HDCP 2.2 and would tell us if it works or not. I hope there's someone out there that could help us with this test.

I don't believe there are any compatible 120hz screens for this model. I haven't heard of one at least.

Pretty sure YouTube 4K does not need hdcp 2.2. Netflix does, if you have that, try testing with house of cards.

Ultimitely you need to test it with a UHD 4k Blu Ray disc to be for sure. So you'll need an external Blu Ray drive, and play one of the few 4K Blu Ray titles that are out there, but I'm not sure that those Blu Ray 4K disc are true UHD using HDCP 2.2.

Your best bet for right now is to try 4K netflix, and 4K amazon titles. Youtube 4K does not use HDCP 2.2 at least for the free stuff.

    Here's one to try
    http://amzn.com/B00PU5IZXY

    ***The Tricky Part***
You have to keep a close eye on this, because if with most UHD titles if HDCP 2.2 is not detected it will downscale the quality to plain HD, no 4K. So make sure it's actually playing 4K resolution. If your up for the Challenge give it a try. I'd encourage all Batman 2.0 Owners to give this a try and report back.

Samsung 950 Pro? The 950 Pro is the M.2 drive. I think I've seen it posted, but you have to figure out how to slip stream in the Samsung NVME drivers into the Windows 7 installer and switch BIOS to UEFI. An internet search for "booting NVME with Windows 7" should provide you with the info.

Now if you meant the Samsung 850 Pro, then there shouldn't be any issues with that configuration and Win7

Can someone comment on the noise of the P750DM? Is it loud under normal load? Also, what are the temps to be expected on 970M and 6700k?

I looked around, and some people were getting up to 90 degrees on the CPU. Isn't that a little hot?

Noise is acceptable(at least to me), as for temp, my 980m never even go up to 80degrees despite slight overclocking. 6700k was a little hot, but never reached 85 in locked 4.2ghz. Undervolting is the key.

ummmm long story short,Intel xtu, Advanced Tuning,Core voltage offset, based on skylake data i've being seeing around the forums, myself included might be safe to start with -160mv,can even take it to -170.Test for stability with xtu built in bench or stress test or your favorite benching utility,Continue decreasing by - 5 and repeat stability check prodecure.

Forgot to add,a freeze or restart under windows 10 signals to low of a voltage,if your safe number happens to be -185 you may want to add plus 5 so -180 to compensate for inaccuracy(can't find the word i'm looking for).

750zm,870dm forums lots of valuable information regarding fine tuning.YouTube has some vids aswell

I just got my computer earlier this week and I'm surprised by how quiet it is.

Doing light tasks like web browsing it is around the ambient noise of my house and office so I don't notice it.

When gaming, compiling, etc. it becomes fairly audible, but it's no more obtrusive than my Macbook Pro was.

Does the p771 have nvme support out of the box? Or do I have to update bios?

I installed a samsung 950pro in my system last night, but my pc doesn't see it

There's some discussion about that earlier in this thread or in the 870dm thread however,Does your os recognize it during installation? If i not mistaken the bios may not,but the installation media does anyway and afterwards you install Samsung's software or what not.

You will need to format it within the disk management tool in windows, Right-click the bottom-left corner (or Start button) on the desktop to open Quick Access Menu, and then choose Disk Management. Use Windows+R to open Run, type diskmgmt.msc in the empty box and tap OK.

    Sorry wrong post

No that probably won't work, because they video is free and doesn't have HDCP 2.2. If you use a VPN like HMA, or pure vpn, will work just connect to a city in the US and it'll make it appear as if you are a local.

Is there anyone else that would be willing to give Netflix 4K a try or Amazon 4K a try to see if HDCP 2.2. works with the DM?
