24 hours? I got this this on my order update

    redbytes,
    1 x Headphone Jack
    1 x Microphone Jack
So pretty sure it's 2 separate holes for input and output.

"Your order is right on track. You will be getting an update for tracking information with an 24- 48 hour. Please contact us by tomorrow at 4:30 if you have not receive any tracking information."

I had assumed it ment tracking... As in shipping lol its probably tracking as in process update...

    I misread it at work...

That is just fantastic for a stock IPS screen .
What do you use to cap FPS? nVidia Inspector?
Never used it to cap FPS becuase I always thought more was better where in the program can I find this feature?
So any regrets getting the stock IPS other than its matte?

DPD tracking has now activated online. And so it begins...

Any bets for how much sleep I'll be able to get tonight? :p

nah it should be pretty much spot on :) reviews on nvidias and AMDs recently released downsampling included comparison with actual 4K vs. downsampled 4K and compared with FHD it amounted to about 30% fps :) things like that dont always scale linear...

Like a few other US guys in the thread who bought their P650SG from Xotic/Sager, mine entered stage 2 at 1:00 PM EST. I hope it gets here before the 26th, as I'm leaving for vacation that evening and would like my new laptop to play with rather than my W230ST.

Once you get the Stage 2 it ships usually a day or two after. Very good chance it will get to you by the 26th depending on where you are shipping to.

@jaybee83 Quite, thanks! I need to update it as my RAM is now @ 3200MHz and swapped 840 PRO for 512GB MX100. Maybe I will do SLi 980's also.
@Hutsady@XoticPC I got expedited rush and UPS Next Day Air.

With next day air then I really think it should make it. A heads up about that. Sager ships after we leave the office because of the different time zones. We get the tracking number the next day, which is the same day it will be delivered. So there is a chance it could be delivered before you get the tracking info.

I'm looking for some help if anyone is able to offer.

I'm currently trying to go into my 'Mouse' under the control panel to see if it's possible to turn on two finger scrolling, however whenever I try to go into 'Mouse' I'm greeted with this notification:

    0ec19affde.png

Any help? Is two finger scrolling possible? I had it working on my last Windows 8 laptop so assumed I could again.

Has anyone actually confirmed this? There is absolutely been no certainty on it, and even the (poorly translated) specification sheet does not say anything definitive, but it just can be read one of many ways with the "or" statement.

    Hey Guys,

I'm downloading the drivers from Clevo but the speeds are killing me. Any other place I can download them?

Edit: When I single handly carry the laptop, SSD seems to be loose. I haven't opened up the case yet, it came with the laptop. And I haven't seen any screws in the box. How can I make sure the SSD is not loose?

It is slow, I give you that, but it should be about 200KB/sec which isn't horrible. I downloaded them all in a couple hours or so. The "ASIA" links seem to be the only ones working, but worked fine for me and I'm in USA.

As I understand from the manual the second m.2 port runs at Sata3 when all PCIe lanes are used for the first m.2 port. It should be possible to use two m.2 storage devices.

Now open it up and check out that screen. Think you are the first person to get one with the Sharp 4k that has also used the Panasonic 3k recently. We already pretty much know just how good the cooling and performance are on it, but the real question to be answered is whether the Sharp 4k is worth it.

Well, it's here! First thoughts: definitely lighter than my Dell StudioXPS (not like that's saying much, but still), the keyboard is solid, and this screen is beautiful.

One minor-not-so-minor issue: the external CD drive I ordered with it isn't getting here until Monday, so it looks like I have to download the drivers off the internet. But where do I go to get them? The download links on the Clevo website keep kicking back "This page can't be displayed", and SagerNotebooks doesn't have the NP8651 listed in its driver downloads.

Just 2 pages back, and I posted the link before as well.
Maybe this should be noted in the OP ?

    Look for ->Support-->Treiberdownload-->XMG-->P505

I just recognized they also provide Win7 drivers now.

Bah expected delivery is Wednesday the 23rd end of day and I leave for vacation Wednesday morning go figure! Good thing my lady will be at the house while I'm gone. I would have upgraded the shipping had I known it was shipped out today! Haha. I figured there was still a few days left on the build since I did not do any rush processing. Oh well one more thing to look forward to when I get back :)

    First impressions:

    - It is sandblasted finish. I was expecting brushed, but this looks great anyway.
    - Despite a Scan rep telling me there would be no fingerprint scanner, there is! Very nice surprise! :D
    - There is a small 3XS logo on the lid. Looks fine, not in your face branding.
    - Sharp display is bright enough to mitigate reflections effectively. Colours, contrast and black levels are fantastic, as are viewing angles.
    - Speakers are pretty good. Happy to hear no distortion at full volume.
    - Came installed with Classic Shell. Didn't like it as I have got used to naked 8.1 so uninstalled that.

    Issues so far:

    - Scan installed the OS to a MBR partition for some inexplicable reason. Now I can't enable UEFI. EDIT: clean install fixed this issue :)
    - No Bluetooth. Can't seem to find Bluetooth device in Device Manager. Installing the Bluetooth driver from Qualcomm's website does not work. EDIT: clean install fixed this issue :)

Currently doing a fresh install of Windows in order to convert the OS drive to GPT. I'll give you all more thoughts on Sharp 4K display and rest of notebook soon, just got to finish all the setup process, install programs, update stuff etc.

Any specific reason the OS has to be on a GPT drive and not MBR?

I love the fingerprint reader! Never enter a password again in W8.1!
